1. SUBSCRIPTION OVERVIEW

My Meds UK offers a premium subscription with enhanced features including AI-powered medication assistance, unlimited searches, and advanced drug interaction checking.

2. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

2.1 Monthly Subscription

  • Price: £9.99 per month (including VAT)
  • Billing: Monthly, automatically renewing
  • Features: Full access to all premium features

2.2 Free Trial

  • Duration: 14 days
  • Features: Full access during trial
  • Automatic Conversion: Converts to paid subscription unless cancelled before trial ends
  • Eligibility: First-time subscribers only

3. PAYMENT AND BILLING

3.1 Payment Method

All payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.

3.2 Billing Cycle

  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

3.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes do not affect current subscribers until their next renewal.

3.4 Taxes

Prices include UK VAT. Additional taxes may apply based on your location.

4. FREE TRIAL TERMS

4.1 Eligibility

Free trials are available to new subscribers only, once per Apple ID.

4.2 Trial Period

The trial period is 14 days from the date of subscription.

4.3 Cancellation During Trial

You may cancel anytime during the trial period without charge. After the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee.

4.4 Trial Limitations

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify trial duration
  • Limit trial eligibility
  • Revoke trial access for abuse

5. AUTO-RENEWAL

5.1 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.

5.2 Managing Auto-Renewal

To turn off auto-renewal:

  1. Open iOS Settings
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Select My Meds UK
  4. Turn off auto-renewal

5.3 Renewal Notification

You will receive a reminder before each renewal (via Apple).

6. CANCELLATION

6.1 How to Cancel

Cancel your subscription through your Apple ID Account Settings:

  1. Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  2. Select My Meds UK → Cancel Subscription

6.2 Effective Date

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until that date.

6.3 No Partial Refunds

If you cancel, you will not be refunded for the remaining time in your current billing period.

7. REFUNDS

7.1 Apple Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

7.2 Requesting a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Select "Request a refund"
  4. Choose My Meds UK subscription
  5. Submit your request to Apple

7.3 Our Refund Policy

We may offer refunds at our sole discretion for:

  • Technical issues preventing app use
  • Billing errors
  • Exceptional circumstances

8. FEATURES AND ACCESS

8.1 Premium Features

Subscription includes:

  • Unlimited AI-powered medication queries
  • Advanced drug interaction checking
  • Conversation history and saving
  • Priority support
  • Ad-free experience (if applicable)
  • Future premium features

8.2 Feature Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Add new premium features
  • Modify existing features
  • Remove features with reasonable notice

8.3 Access Upon Cancellation

After cancellation, premium features are disabled. You revert to free tier access.

9. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

9.1 Suspension Grounds

We may suspend or terminate your subscription for:

  • Violation of Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of the Service
  • Chargebacks

9.2 No Refund Upon Termination

If we terminate your subscription for cause, you are not entitled to a refund.

10. DATA AND PRIVACY

10.1 Subscription Data

We collect subscription status data (active/cancelled) but not payment details (processed by Apple).

10.2 Data Retention

Upon subscription cancellation, conversation history may be retained according to our Privacy Policy unless you delete your account.

11. THIRD-PARTY TERMS

11.1 Apple Terms

You must comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and Usage Rules.

11.2 Apple's Role

Apple is not responsible for:

  • Subscription billing issues
  • Refunds
  • App content or functionality

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our liability for subscription-related issues is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, up to a maximum of £100.

13. CONSUMER RIGHTS

13.1 UK Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

13.2 Right to Withdraw

You have a 14-day cooling-off period under UK law. To exercise this right, contact Apple for a refund.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Subscription Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
